RALLY FOR INCREASED FUNDING
FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE

ARE YOUR OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES FOR HEALTH INSURANCE GROWING?

CAN YOU CONTINUE TO AFFORD TO PAY YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS?

Increased funding for the public school employee health insurance program is one of the most critical issues that AEA believes must be addressed by the Arkansas General Assembly when it convenes in January.

As a part of our efforts to obtain legislative action to increase the state and/or local share of the cost of the health insurance premiums, AEA is sponsoring a RALLY FOR INCREASED FUNDING FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE on Saturday, January 24 in Little Rock from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.

We need every AEA member to attend the rally. We also encourage every school employee on the public school employee health insurance plan to attend, whether or not they are AEA members. In addition, every public school employee who cannot afford the state health insurance plan should plan to come to the rally.

Every local association is encouraged to begin planning now to bring public school employees to the rally. To help AEA plan for this event, we ask every local association president to notify Alice Canady or Prudence Martin at AEA by Friday, January 16 of the number of people who will attend the rally. Alice and Prudence may also be reached by phone at 1-800-632-0624, extensions 111 and 108, respectively.

Together we can, and together we will build a great public school for every child.
